Over the past 30 years, Prof. Maha Helal have specialized and dedicated her work in breast imaging. She is working as the Head of the female imaging unit at the Department of Radiology, National Cancer Institute, Cairo University since 2000. Additionally, she is a consultant of breast imaging in the Egyptian Breast Cancer Foundation of the National Screening Program, Alpha Scan Radiology Center, Wadi El Nil Hospital and Misr International Hospital. She have more than 40 national as well as international published papers and supervised more than 70 Masters and MD thesis. Prof. Maha have also orally presented several times at the annual RSNA and ECR meetings. She is also a Radiology Consultant in several international clinical trials in breast cancer, lung cancer and mesothelioma. Her research interests are women`s imaging, breast imaging, artificial intelligence, breast cancer, gynecological cancers.
