Dr. James Hutson, the head of the AI Ambassadors, holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and is department head of programs in Human-Centered AI. Overseeing AI research at his institution, Dr. Hutson has authored over 50 books, articles, and chapters on the application of AI in education. Specializing in multidisciplinary research that spans artificial intelligence, neurohumanities, neurodiversity, immersive realities, and the gamification of education, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art from the University of Tulsa, a Master of Arts in Art History from Southern Methodist University, and a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Maryland, College Park. Additionally, he holds Master's degrees in Leadership and Game Design from Lindenwood University and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Capitol Technology University. Since 2006, Dr. Hutson has held various pedagogical and administrative roles across five universities, including Chair of Art History, Assistant Dean of Graduate and Online Programs, and Lead XR Disruptor and Department Head of Art History and Visual Culture.
