Miss. Jean Gan is a senior in-house counsel with over 15 years of experience across the APAC region, specializing in commercial transactions, cross-border contracting, regulatory compliance, and AI governance. She currently leads legal operations at KLN Logistics Group, overseeing legal functions across seven jurisdictions, advising senior management, and negotiating complex cross-border agreements in logistics, technology, and warehousing. Jean is also a thought leader in Legal AI, advocating for responsible AI adoption and governance, and developing innovative tools such as the Legal AI Navigator and NDA Automation to embed compliance into legal workflows. A PhD candidate in AI regulation at the University of Leicester, Jean is a widely published academic and industry expert, with contributions to global AI governance frameworks, including collaborations with AIGN (AI Governance Network). She has authored resources like the How to Legal AI platform and the L.E.G.A.L. Prompting Framework, which are widely adopted by legal professionals. Jean holds a Global MBA and a Master of Laws from the University of London, and is committed to advancing the intersection of law, technology, and governance.
