Dr. Hafsa Shahid, MD is an incoming pediatric resident at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth System and currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women?s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in the Polycystic Kidney Disease Center. She has extensive clinical and translational research experience, including staining, genotyping, data visualization, and interpretation. Her research has spanned diverse areas such as post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders, COVID-19, artificial intelligence in neurology, and gastrointestinal cancers with liver metastases. Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Shahid brings a global perspective informed by her clinical work in underserved settings, with a strong commitment to health equity, early diagnosis, and data-driven, patient-centered care. In her free time, she enjoys photography, cooking, and fantasy movies.
