Mr. Ronak Kosamia is a Principal Software Engineer and applied machine learning researcher at Medtronic, where he focuses on building intelligent, patient-centric software solutions across regulated healthcare environments. His work spans connected medical devices, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) architecture, and edge-AI applications in digital therapeutics especially in pelvic health and chronic care management. With a background in automotive software at CARIAD (Volkswagen Group), Ronak previously led large-scale SDV feature development, including dynamic UI frameworks, navigation plugin systems, RRO-based theming, and OTA optimization. Now at Medtronic, his research centers on integrating AI with sensing platforms exploring federated learning, privacy-preserving inference, and cross-platform clinical interfaces for real-time feedback and intervention. Ronak is actively building a portfolio of research publications and thought leadership in both healthcare and mobility AI, with the goal of qualifying for the EB1-A/B visa category.
